Within the churchyard to NE of the main road through the village of Llanfair which forms a loop off the A496. The sundial is sited to the W of the church.

The plate and gnomen of the sundial appear to be C18 in character set on a roughly dressed square profile column of unknown date.

Sundial comprised of bronze octagonal plate and gnomen, the plate ornately carved and bearing the name of Wilson, Nevin; set within a slate surround, the dial is set on rough square profiled pillar of local stone.
