Exterior
Parish church, rubble stone with ashlar dressings and slate roofs with coped shouldered gables with cross finials. Nave with W tower, N porch and chancel. S aisle of equal size to nave, parallel-roofed. Tower is plain with battered sides, chamfered string course under embattled parapet. Single segmental-pointed bell-openings with louvres. Small loop at mid-height on W and low pointed W doorway with rough stone voussoirs under flat dripstone, C19 double doors.
Rest of church is in coursed local slaty stone, the upper parts C19, with steep roofs, ashlar copings, windows and doors. Hoodmoulds to all openings, with stops left in blocks, for carving. N side has N porch with coped shouldered gable and cross finial, plinth, low two-step diagonal buttresses, moulded pointed doorway with hoodmould, boarded double doors, and small pointed niche over, with hoodmould. Nave then has stepped triple lancet, uncusped with tiny spandrel roundels and segmental-pointed hoodmould, projection for rood stair, and pointed 2-light, uncusped, with roundel in head and hoodmould. Short chancel has lower roof, one small cusped lancet each side without hoodmould, and large pointed 3-light to E, cusped lights and three quatrefoil roundels in head. Hoodmould and stone voussoirs.
South aisle is parallel to nave with E and W end 3-light pointed windows, narrower than chancel E, with uncusped lights and three uncusped roundels in head. S side has two 3-light windows set to left, similar to that on N side.
