The following provides a general description of the scheduled monument.
The monument comprises the remains of a church, probably dating to the medieval period. The tower and south and east walls stand to full height, and have all been renovated. The memorial to the Pryce family stands in interior on E side, near the altar. The interior is grassed over with cleared grave-stones from churchyard arranged around walls.
The monument is of national importance for its potential to enhance our knowledge of medieval ecclesiastical organisation. The monument forms an important element within the wider medieval context and the structure itself may be expected to contain archaeological information in regard to chronology, building techniques and functional detail.
The scheduled area comprises the remains described and areas around them within which related evidence may be expected to survive.
