Set on rising ground on the SW edge of the town with same roof level as No 1 to left and Nos 4 and 5 to right set back from No 1 with gardens to the front.
History
Mid C19 (after ca 1845).
Exterior
Pair of simple classical 2-storey, 3-window roughcast frontages with uniform hipped slate roof; wide boarded eaves, 2 rubble end chimney stacks and 1 to centre. Fronts extended by screen walls to side passages entered through boarded doors. 16-pane sash windows with lintels. Semi-circular arched entrances with hood moulds and recessed 6-panel doors with 5-pane fanlights. Rubble garden walls to front with plain gate piers, ironwork gates and railings.
