By law, the definition of a listed building includes the entire building (i) and any structure or object that is fixed to the said building and ancillary to it and (ii) any other structure or object that forms part of the land and has done so since before 1 July 1948, and was within the curtilage of the building, and ancillary to it, on the date on which said building was first included in the list, or on 1 January 1969, whichever was later.

History
By Mario Rutelli (designer of the town war memorial) probably 1922/23, and erected in the courtyard of Tabernacle Chapel (demolished 2014).
Exterior
War memorial. Made in bronze it is a replica of the seal of the 'Calvanistic Methodist connexion': winged figure of Victory stands with one leg on a globe inscribed with the names of the fallen of the First World War. Marble plinth with Second World War memorial tablet; rests on slate platform.
Low stone wall enclosure with fleur-de-lys iron railings, and masonry pillar with urn finial.
Reason for designation
An especially fine example of a small war memorial.
