Early to mid C19. Marked on Wood's 1834 map of Cardigan.  

Exterior
Pair of houses, roughcast and stucco with slate roof and brick end stacks, that to right rebuilt on stone base. Three-storey 4-window range of sashes, original small paned windows to No 21 and later C19 or C20 plate glass sashes to No 22. No 21 has 6-pane upper windows, 12-pane first floor windows and tripartite 4-12-4-pane window to ground floor left. No 22 has 4-pane windows generally, but 2-4-2-pane tripartite sash. Two centre doors, No 21 has modern door, original overlight and no doorcase, No 22 has all modern door features.
