Location
Situated on N side of B 4342 Talsarn-Llangeitho road about 4.5 km NE of Talsarn.
History
Probably earlier C19, although the land is said to have been sold for building in 1760. Modernised since listing in 1993. Possibly the building marked on 1843 Nantcwnlle Tithe Map as owned by Blaenpennal Chapel, occupied by Daniel Jones.
Exterior
Whitewashed cob with slate roof (replacing thatch) and end chimneys, rebuilt after 1993. Single storey, double fronted with two pointed windows with casement pairs and Y-tracery fixed heads. Centre C20 door under timber lintel. Rubble base to wall and some repairs in stone. There was a small loft window in left gable end (1993).
Interior
Altered with modern partitions and chimney.
Reason for designation
Listed for special interest as an earth-walled cottage retaining some early C19 picturesque Gothic detail.
