Exterior
Pair of cottages, single storey with slate roofs and end-wall stacks, each double-fronted with 12-pane sash each side of ledged door with overlight. Slate sills, Blaentowyn is whitewashed with whitewashed stacks. Towyn Cottage is roughcast with painted brick right end stack.
Reason for designation
Included as a rare and little altered example of traditional single-storey cottages in the area.
