History
Dated 1836. Gothick cast-iron milepost, one of a series on A48, raised lettering.
Exterior
Pointed arched head with keystone above inscription "Bridgend District and Town". Triangular projection below with two pointed arched panels reading "To Cowbridge 7" and "To Pyle 6", resting on ‘cushion’ with semicircular panel reading "London 177". Base formed of square panel reading "Coity Parish" above date plaque "1836".
