History
Built 1880, part of the Bridgend and Cowbridge union. Arts and Crafts.
Exterior
Single-unit asymmetrical 2-storey 2-window bull-nosed rubble front with plinth and freestone window dressings. Steep tiled roof swept low to centre with overhanging eaves, ridge cresting and finials, rubble chimney stacks. Advanced to right with half hipped cross roof; 1st floor window to left rises through eaves with gabled dormer roof; blocked up paired windows. Half-hipped left end with outside stairs, gabled upper window to right side. Rear elevation similar to the front. Modern school building to the right is not of special interest.
In poor condition at time of inspection (April 1986).
