History
Erected in 1810 after the death of Mary Carryl who came from Ireland with Lady Eleanor Butler and Hon Sarah Ponsonby as their housekeeper at Plas Newydd. Designed by Thomas Parker of Sweeney Hall (father of the famous architectural historian John Parker).
Exterior
Triangular and Gothic in style; freestone. Pyramidal cap and gables to each face and small gables over panelled corner buttresses. Cusped recesses to each face containing stone carved memorial tablets with lengthy inscriptions and biblical quotations. The SE side commemorates Mrs Mary Carryl (died 1809), the W side commemorates Lady Eleanor Charlotte Butler (died 1829) and the NE side commemorates Sarah Ponsonby (died 1931).

Group value with the Parish Church, sundial and the churchyard wall.
