Situated in centre of long, slightly curving terraced row fronting onto footpath above High Street. Early C19 small cottage, whitewashed rubble with part grouted slate roof and truncated rubble end stacks. Single storey, double fronted with two small 12-pane sashes under slate lintels and centre door. Roof collapsed (1989) to rear. W end loft light. Timber lintel to one fireplace and evidence of former loft, now removed. Sawn timber trusses. Included as a rare survivor of the single storey cottages once typical of the area. Marked on 1838 Tithe Map. Semi-ruinous condition.
