Situated along roadside boundary of Cotham Lodge garden on main approach to Newport from west.
Exterior
Mid C19 garden wall in rubble stone with rough stone coping, some 1.5 to
2m high. Incurving walls to main entrance gates with pyramid-capped ashlar piers and wooden gates. Some 30m length to E, terminating at gable end of service range forming L-plan to SE of Cotham Lodge; coping stepped over head of one doorway with cambered stone voussoirs and diagonally braced ledged door. Some 55m length to W, terminating at field gateway with square piers.

Included for group value with house and for importance on main approach to the town from west.
