Exterior
Early C19 small single-storey cottage, much restored. Colourwashed rubble stone with imitation slate roof and stone end stacks, larger stack to W end. Centre door, one very small 4-pane window to left, larger 4-pane window to right, both with stone lintels. One W end window. Unpainted rubble addition to E end with asbestos roof and three C20 4-pane windows.
Interior
Has original cambered timber lintel to W fireplace obscured by C20 beam. Small E fireplace. Sawn timber trusses.
Reason for designation
Included as scarce surviving example of single storey cottage once common in area.
