Location
Situated in sand quarry some 500 m N of minor road running NW off B 4582 from junction 1.5 k W of Glanrhyd. Quarry entry is some 400m from junction.
Exterior
Late C18 or early C19 farmhouse in whitewashed banded rubble stone with slate roof. Rebuilt brick end stacks, larger to left. Two-storey three-window front of 4-pane sashes with split slate sills and painted stone voussoirs to cambered heads. Similar head to centre ledged door. Outshut rear.
Deterioring condition (1991).
Reason for designation
A good example of traditional farmhouse, little altered despite quarry.
