The list description is not intended to be a complete inventory of what is listed: it is principally intended to aid identification. By law, the definition of a listed building includes the entire building (i) and any structure or object that is fixed to the said building and ancillary to it and (ii) any other structure or object that forms part of the land and has done so since before 1 July 1948, and was within the curtilage of the building, and ancillary to it, on the date on which said building was first included in the list, or on 1 January 1969, whichever was later.

Location
Reached by a minor road west of the A525 Nant-y-garth pass, about 1 km south west of Llysfasi Agricultural College.
Exterior
A cruck-built house of 3 bays, with rubble stonework and a slate roof. Large chimney stack above the south gable end. Casement windows. Small extension on the east side. All doors and windows replaced.
Interior
Said in 1976 to have 3 crucks internally, two of which were exposed. One original partition survived inside with pegged oak planking. Axial beam with ogee stop. Two-door post and panel partition with Tudor door-heads.

Listed as a late-mediaeval cruck-built house which retains substantial original interior features
