Telephone call-box of K6 type designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott for the GPO in 1936. This example dating from before 1953.
Exterior
Telephone kiosk, red-painted cast-iron, square plan, with shallow Soaneian domed roof and lunettes with embossed George VI crowns over translucent panel lettered ''Telephone''. Two sides and door are glazed with horizontal panes with narrow marginal panes. Blank rear.
