C19; black painted and panelled iron water pump, retaining spout, handle, pyramidal coping. The pump has a stone trough before it and stands on a raised platform of stone slabs with stone rubble sides which is set against the SE gable wall of no 23.
Reason for designation
Scarce C19 public water pump with group value with Town Hall, and No 23 High Street.
