K6 type square red kiosk of standard design by Giles Gilbert Scott, architect of London; design introduced by GPO in 1936.
Exterior
K6 telephone box. Of cast iron painted red with domed roof surmounted by crown; 4 lunettes with red-lettered opals and ventilation slits. Raised surrounds to sides and door with margin bars to horizontal glazing. Blank rear with casting inscription, moulded plinth.
Reason for designation
Listed for group value with the church.
