Location
Bounds lane connecting High Street and Cardiff Road on its east side. It extends south from the south-west tower of the ruins of the Bishop's Palace as far as Cardiff Road.
History
Probably mid C18 and contemporary with the construction of Llandaff House, now The Cathedral School. It may have earlier origins, but ancient fabric is not now evident.
Exterior
Wall of thinly coursed local lias stone rubble which is about 2.25m in height and runs for about 200m on the north-east side of the lane from High Street to Cardiff Road.
Reason for designation
Included for its group value with the surrounding listed buildings.
