Group Description
Osmington Cottage, Ivy Cottage & The Mount
Walls of stone rubble with dressed stone quoins and with coping and kneelers to the gables, Welsh slate roof, ridge stacks with old pots. Three two-storey cottages, the centre one with plaque dated 1852. 3-light casement windows; centre lights plain and outer lights with lattice tracery; stone cills. Porches with pointed arches and gables. Ivy Cottage is recessed in the centre and has front elevation of two window bays with centre door bay with porch. The front elevations of Osmington Cottage (left) and The Mount (right) are in the form of gabled cross-wings, Osmington Cottage to the east and The Mount to the west, each with a 3-light casement window both above and below in front gable end; side elevations of Osmington Cottage and The Mount each with an external stack and porch. Rear elevation not seen.
