Location
One of the associated structures in the gardens of St Fagans Castle and part of the Museum of Welsh Life.
History
The wall of probably of early C19 date, but possibly earlier. The wall appears on the 1855 Estate Plan. The brick southerly face is for growing fruit.
Exterior
The Western side of this garden is bounded by the 'Battlement Walk' and 'Watch-tower' which are listed under a separarate entry (qv). The northern side is bounded by a high garden wall with its southern aspect of brick and its northern aspect of stone; ashlar coping. Close to the western end of the wall there is a brick segmental headed archway with wooden gate. From its eastern angle, the wall turns southwards for a short distance.
Reason for designation
Included as one of the structures associated with the gardens and estate of St. Fagans Castle.
