History
Low brick and terracotta wall, with pairs of gate-piers to either end, built 1893, and probably also designed by the architect of the house, Henry Beswick of Chester.  

Exterior
The wall is pierced by cruciform panels, and has a central foiled terracotta panel with shield. It is surmounted by a moulded parapet. Gate piers (the gateway now blocked to right-hand pair) are square in plan, and terminate in swept pyramidal copings with ball finials above shallow painted panelled frieze.
