Circa 1865 pair of semi-detached houses.
Exterior
Three storeys plus attic behind low parapet; stucco, central rendered chimney; 2 gabled dormers, horned sash glazing.
Four bays with central 2 bays slightly advanced articulated by pilasters, each bay with, on second floor, paired segmentally-headed windows in architrave; on first floor Venetian window; on ground floor, splayed bay window.
End bays have second floor window with architrave; first floor window with architrave and pediment; ground floor has open porch with pillars and entablature. Entrance doorway with moulded surround and cornice, 2-leaf panelled door with rectangular overlight. R gable slate hung, L gable pebbledashed.
Reason for designation
Included as relatively unspoilt substantial pair overlooking main open space in Walter Road.
