History
Small late C18/early C19 road bridge. Described as `ruinous and out of repair' at the Dolgellau quarter sessions of October 1744; Richard Fenton, the traveller and antiquary describes the present
bridge as new in 1808.
Exterior
Rubble single-span bridge with slate-stone coping to parapet walls; segmental arch with slate voussoirs and hoodmould.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with St. Catherine's church and Y Bont terrace.
