Exterior
Farmhouse. Mid-late C18. Red brick in irregular bond, with slate roof. Two storeys, attic and large cellar. 'T'-plan, central stair hall with flanking reception rooms, and service wing central to rear. Short bay in re-entrant angle. Part glazed door in small added porch. Sixteen-paned sashes, the boxes set well forward with moulded architraves in openings with half-brick segmental heads. Three pitched dormers. Gable stacks, the raised gables finished with bricks stepped at each course and slightly oversailing. Brick dentilled eaves.
