Alongside the Town Hall.
Exterior
Pair of shops. No 45 largely refronted c1870; no 46 probably an early C19 frontage, though the property itself has earlier origins. Brick with slate roof. 3 storeys; No 45 a 3 window range, 2-window range to No 46. Inserted shop fronts, of late C19-early C20 types with moulded brackets with cable moulding and foliate swags to either side of fascias; windows of No 46 divided by a mid-rail. Upper windows are 4-pane sashes with flat arched heads; continuous sill band to upper storey of No 46.
Included for group value, the buildings retain much of their late C19 character, including a shop front of some quality.
