Exterior
Small early C19 2-storey cottage with modern slate roof and chimney to L; weather coursing and plain cornice. Single C19 recessed 12-pane sash window to each floor. Set back slightly and adjoining to the L, a porch lean-to of rubble with a slate roof; modern out-of-character door to front and boarded store door to side. Stepped-up to the rear and adjoining the porch, a larger single-storey rubble extension with slate roof, half-hipped towards the rear.  

Interior
The interior was not inspected at the time of re-survey (January 1996).  

Reason for designation
Included for group value with the adjoining Tan-yr Yw and the Church of St. Mary.
