Situated to the rear of the former farm buildings to Llwyn Onn Hall Hotel which is accessed from the Cefn Road opposite Abenbury Road. The ice-house is semi-submerged on gently rising ground with a view towards Cefn Park.
History
Late C18 or C19 ice-house to the former Llwyn Onn Hall, home of the Jones, and subsequently the Parry-Jones, family who claimed descendance from Tudor Trefor.
Exterior
Red brick ice-house with barrel-vaulted entrance leading to submerged rectangular ice-chamber.
Reason for designation
Listed as a rare surviving example of this building type and for group value with Llwyn Onn Hall Hotel.
