History: Early C19 single storey thatched cottage, marked on 1843 Tithe Map. Description: Whitewashed rubble stone with corrugated iron roof covering thatch. Brick N end stack replacing wicker round chimney. Single-storey, double-fronted with two small 4-pane sashes and centre ledged door. Lower outbuildings each end, N end with N end door. S end former carpenter's shop with one window to left of front wall and door with timber lintel in S end wall. A well-preserved thatched one-storey vernacular cottage, now rare in the region.
