Full Report for Listed Buildings
The list description is not intended to be a complete inventory of what is listed: it is principally intended to aid identification. By law, the definition of a listed building includes the entire building (i) and any structure or object that is fixed to the said building and ancillary to it and (ii) any other structure or object that forms part of the land and has done so since before 1 July 1948, and was within the curtilage of the building, and ancillary to it, on the date on which said building was first included in the list, or on 1 January 1969, whichever was later.

History
Mid C19 water-powered corn-mill. There was a mill on the 1840 Tithe Map, called Ysguborwen Mill, but probably not this building.

Rubble stone with slate roof. One-storey and loft. N gable end has broad cambered-arched cart-entry to ground floor, with stone voussoirs and plank double doors. Lean-to addition to right with ground floor door with stone voussoirs and damaged opening over. E side has access to upper floor from raised bank. Door and window. Mill-wheel is on S end, large iron wheel with timber spokes and buckets. It has been enclosed in a stone building to same roof-height as adjoining original, with tall arched opening on W side, stone voussoirs.
Interior
Not inspected. Said to have remaining mill machinery, single loft floor.
Reason for designation
A good example of a small rural corn-mill, unusual in having an enclosed wheel.
