Spanning the Afon Llugwy immediately N of Capel Curig church and carrying the A 4086.
Exterior
Late C18 or early C19 road bridge linking Capel Curig to Plas-y-Brenin, the former Royal Hotel, with which it is possibly contemporary. Single-span bridge of rubble with tapering buttresses flanking a wide segmental arch; roughly-dressed voussoirs set below a dressed arch-ring and with projecting keystone. Plain string course and dressed slatestone capping to flat rubble parapet.
Reason for designation
Listed as an elegant late C18 or early C19 road bridge and for group value with Royal Farm and Church of St. Curig.
