Situated on the corner of Stryd-y-Capel and Bridge Street, Llanon and some 45m N of Pont Llanon.
History
Early to mid C19 house, restuccoed circa 1900.
Exterior
C19 house with slate roof, rendered stone end stacks, larger to R., and bracketed eaves. Two storeys with outshut rear and 3-window front offset to L. Painted rendered stone with 4-pane sashes. Raised shouldered surrounds with keystones to all openings. Late C19 timber porch with double half-glazed doors, overlight, narrow sidelights and moulded cornice.
Spear- headed iron railings on rendered stone wall with spear-headed iron gate with large rendered and capped gate piers.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well-preserved early/mid C19 house of regional character, prominent in approach to Llanon from S and probably earlier than most similar houses in Llanon.
