Set into a slope immediately W of an unclassified lane running SW from Capel Garmon, approximately 150m W of Carreg Lleon farm.

History
Small, rectangular field barn, probably of late C17 or early C18 date.
Exterior
Random rubble construction on boulder foundations; rubble gable parapets with old slate roof. Central entrance to NE side with recessed boarded door; single flanking ventilation slits. Small, square shuttered opening to SE gable at groundlevel, with exposed timber lintel; further ventilation slit at apex.
Interior
This was not inspected at the time of survey (January 97), although the roof is clearly of 2 bays.
Reason for designation
Included as an unusually good, unaltered example of a vernacular late C17/early C18 field barn.
