Listed for its special interest as one of a particularly fine terrace of Victorian cottages with well-preserved exterior character.  

Group Description
Nos 1-6 Mountain View. Long third-quarter C19 2-storey terrace of six 2-window cottages; of rubble construction, continuously-roofed and with end chimneys to each unit; simple cornices and weathercoursing. Each unit has a symmetrical front with central boarded door and rectangular overlight. Flanking, recessed 12-pane sashes to ground floor, with 9-pane sashes to first floor, some modern replacements; projecting slate cills. Modern extensions to the rear of each unit.
