Situated in isolated position towards end of Cwm Tynant, on S side of road.
History
Mid C19 croglofft cottage, possibly of c1850-60.
Exterior
Whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof and stone end stacks. Two storeys, double-fronted with 4-pane horned sashes and centre ledged door. Brick heads, slate sills. E end has two gable windows lighting sleeping loft and one 4-pane ground floor window, possibly inserted.
Reason for designation
A croglofft cottage, of particular interest as representing the late survival of this traditional vernacular form.
