History
C19 circular pound for impounding stray livestock off Preseli mountains. Similar to the pound at Newport, Pembrokeshire.
Exterior
Circular enclosure of some 19 m diameter enclosed by a rubble stone and earth bank some 1.5 - 1.75 m high and 2m broad. One gateway with 2 single-slab stone gateposts.
Reason for designation
A well-preserved example of a rare local feature.
