Carthouse in farmyard NE of Hendre Arddwyfaen
Location
The farm buildings stand to the ENE of the farmhouse and form a large rectangular farmyard. The Carthouse defines the SSW side of the yard.

History
Probably built in the mid C19 at the time major upgrading of the farm buildings was taking place.
Exterior
The carthouse is built of local rubble stone with a slate roof. It is of 2 bays, each with an open basket arch of well formed voussoirs giving on to the yard and having a loft over. A lean-to, probably contemporary, is attached to one end with a stable door, also to the yard.
Reason for designation
Included for group value with Hendre Arddwyfaen farmhouse.
