Situated on the SW side of A497, some 500m NW of St Buan's Church, Boduan.
History
Earlier to mid C19 estate house, built for the Newborough Estate at Boduan.
Exterior
Estate house in late Georgian style. Built of large local granite rubble boulders with purple slate hipped roof with projecting eaves and pebbledashed end chimneys. Two storeys, double-fronted with 2 x 16-pane hornless sashes each floor and centre boarded door with 2-pane overlight. Small timber gabled porch with panelled sides. Pebbledash left end wall. Rear right has 12-pane sash. Gabled rear two-storey wing and single-storey outbuilding. SE side of rear extension has a 12-pane hornless sash on each floor. Small C20 porch on right with C20 door. Outbuilding to left is white-washed, with double-door and stable-door.
Reason for designation
Included as a good example of a smaller house in late Georgian style, retaining original character.
