History
The building is one of a row of contiguous properties of C17 origin, all refaced in brick in the early-mid C19.
Exterior
The house is of brick with a slate roof. Two storeys, 3 window bays. Central partly glazed door with a 5-pane overlight raised over steps, set under a gabled timber framed porch hood on brackets. Stone sills and plinth continuous with the adjoining properties. The first and second floor windows are of 2 lights in segmental headed openings.
Reason for designation
Included as one of a row forming a prominent urban group at the centre of Chirk.
