Location
On S side of churchyard facing the school. No 1 is the left-hand half of a pair of cottages.
History
Probably C18 in origin, and possibly built as the vicarage. Converted to 2 dwellings in 1861 (date on building).
Exterior
To the rear is a renewed 2-light casement in the upper storey and an added lean-to below.
Interior
Not inspected at time of survey (January 1998).

Included for group value with Llangenny School, church and associated listed items.
Group Description
1 and 2 Church Cottages
Reflected pair of single-fronted, 2-storey cottages. The walls are pebble-dashed rubble stone, and the slate roof has a large brick stack to R and a smaller brick stack to L. Doorways to the centre have replaced doors. The windows are 2-light casements with 4 Tudor-headed lights and have stone sills. A central gablet has fretted barge boards and a blind vent strip in which is an engraving 'CW 1861'.
