Exterior
Late Georgian frontage with later shopfront; accommodation above, substantially extended to rear. Rendered and painted with very shallow-pitched slate roof with eaves cornice. Two storeys. Four-window range of 4-pane sashes in recessed surrounds with sills to first floor. Ground floor has a plate glass shopfront with slender mullions and supporting cast iron piers behind, central recessed front doorway with overlight and double-part-glazed doors. At each side panelled pilasters flank wide doorways: to right 6-panelled door with overlight; to left double doors to former carriage entrance with ventilation bars above.
Interior
Interior has been replanned and extended with front entrance no longer used.
Reason for designation
Listed as a townhouse retaining historic fabric and character. Group value with other listed buildings in Bridge Street.
