Location
Ty Iocws stands at the end of a long drive off the main road running N from Pwllheli. The small building stands apart from the service yard in a walled toft.

History
The building was probably erected in the late C18 or early C19 as part of the farm arrangements for Ty Iocws.
Exterior
Built of rubble stonework, and an irregulaar sized slate roof. Single storey, with a boarded door and paned timber window, and at the N end, a tall cylindrical stack.
Interior
The interior is of two bays, with central tie beam and applied collar truss. Stack and food preparation area is at the N end.
Reason for designation
Included as a typical pig-swill kitchen, which forms part of the interesting group of service buildings at this gentry farm.
