History
Barn to Pentwyn farm, possibly C18. Marked on 1837 Tithe Map.
Exterior
Barn, rubble stone with slate roof. Full-height opening to centre, two vent loops to right, door in red brick surround to left and one vent loop. W end wall has 3 vent loops, E end has lean-to with some stone tiles. Pig-sty arch on S end. N side, to farmyard is similar, but with added projecting rubble stone pent porch. Two blocked loops to right, rubble stone lean-to pigsty with tin roof to left and loop beyond.
Interior
Tall interior with 4 tie-beam and collar trusses and double purlins.
Reason for designation
Included as a fine regional barn, of group value with Pentwyn.
