Curving terrace of 5 cottages with mid C19 brick facade to an earlier limestone rubble core. Continuous steeply-pitched slate roof with plain brick central chimneys and a flush gable chimney to the L. The terrace consists of a central, double-fronted unit (No. 19) with reflected one-window pairs flanking on each side, the end units having outer entrances. The larger, central unit has a slightly convex front, following, as it does, the curve of the lane. This, together with No. 23 (far R) retains its unhorned 12-pane sashes to both floors, whilst the latter also has 2 original 12-pane sashes and two 9-pane sashes to the first and ground floors (respectively) of its gable end. Nos 15 and 17 have later C19 plain sashes, whilst No. 21 has C20 steel-framed casements; cambered heads to the ground floor windows and projecting stone sills throughout. Six-panel doors to all save No.17, which has a modern, part-glazed door; plain segmental overlights. Rear cross-wing, flush with the gable end, to No.23.
