Location
Situated on S side of by-road, between B4337 and Pen-y-castell. Approximately 1.6km SE of Llanrhystyd. Set behind low rubble forecourt walls.
History
Later C19. Earlier house shown on 1841 Tithe map, then belonging with Ffrwd-fach.
Exterior
Whitewashed rubble construction. Slate roof and slated barges. Rubble gable chimney stacks with stone tabling: thicker to left. three bay front offset to right. Twelve-paned horned sash windows, cambered stone voussoired heads and slate sills. Boarded central door with 2-pane overlight, head as above. Later rubble lean-to against left end, partly of timber/corrugated-iron construction. Right end with small 2-light window to outshut. Full-length rear outshut with two small windows.
Interior
Simple detail. Small parlour. Rear dairy with slate slab shelves.
Reason for designation
Listed as a scarce later C19 farmhouse of regional character with all original features intact.
