Spanning a stream on the eastern side of the village facing Trafalgar Street.
History
Small late C18 or early C19 road bridge. It is possible that the bridge relates to the construction of Trafalgar Street, which presumably occurred shortly after 1805.
Exterior
Low, small, single-span bridge of local rubble construction. Segmental arch with rough-dressed voussoirs recessed below archrings of narrow stones. Rubble parapets to a flat carriageway, splayed outwards slightly at the approaches.
Reason for designation
Listed as an C18 or early C19 regional road bridge retaining good original character in a village setting.
