History
A characteristic local building type of early C19 date.
Exterior
An early C19 rubble stone bakehouse with corrugated iron roof and a tall rubble-stone stack to the L. Against the L gable end is a low, round rubble stone projection housing the oven. The front wall has a single doorway, which has a boarded door with inserted glazed panel. The rear wall a window below the eaves renewed in an earlier opening.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well-preserved C19 bakehouse (characteristic of this area), which forms part of a group with the farmhouse and adjacent barn.
