History
A late C18 or early C19 bakehouse shown on the 1849 Tithe map.
Exterior
A small bakehouse of whitewashed rubble stone with slate roof and brick stack cut down to the L. Facing the house it has a boarded door to the R with inserted glazed panel. On the L side is a field wall attached to the front angle of the building, behind which, against the gable end, is a low, round rubble-stone oven projection.
Reason for designation
Listed as a well-preserved C19 bakehouse, characteristic of this region, and for group value with the house.
