Late C18 or early C19 row of 2 cottages. There are no cottages marked on the Tithe Map of the parish of Llanbadrig, 1844; but the schedule records cottages and gardens on the site, occupied by Richard Jones and others and owned by Owen Williams and David Jones.
Exterior
The N cottage abuts the rear of Ty Newydd. The windows are 2-pane sashes with margin panes.

Reason for designation
Listed as one of a pair of well-preserved vernacular cottages. With Ty Newydd, an exceptional group of this once common cottage type, now becoming rare.

Pair of single storey cottages. Built of stone, limewashed; slate roof, each cottage with large square stack with dripstone and capping to R (N) end. Each a 2-window range with doorway between; modern boarded doors.
